Kelly Caron

KELLY CARON

ASID, NCIDQ, PRINCIPAL DESIGNER

Founder and Principal Designer at Kelly Caron Designs, Kelly holds multiple degrees from Appalachian State University, including her primary degree in Interior Design and a minor degree in both Studio Art and Technology. She continued her studies at Boston Architectural College, focusing on Sustainable Interior Design. Kelly has successfully completed the NCIDQ requirements and holds her professional ASID license and is a good standing professional member of the American Society of Interior Designers.

Through KCD, Kelly has made an indelible impact on the Lowcountry design landscape, infusing numerous homes in communities from Palmetto Bluff to Sea Pines Resort, with her vibrant coastal signature. This has not only allowed her to expand the business into North Palm Beach and many states in the US, but has also pushed her to expand beyond interior design, infusing fashion, furniture and lighting with her inimitable style.
But an entrepreneurial spirit and a penchant for the new have led Kelly to create a new era of design for Kelly Caron Designs. Proving interior design and fashion go hand in hand, Kelly Caron Designs expanded its lifestyle brand and launched CLOVER by Kelly Caron, her own clothing label, which is now available as a wholesale brand under the Soleil Showroom and will be located in boutiques around the country. Newly launched in 2025 is CLOVER and PALM, a premium jewelry brand which Kelly co-designs and co-owns with local jewelry designer and friend, Lissy.

Delivering custom furnishings to clients was an immediate need through the pandemic. Kelly created The Design Vault, their own in-house receiving company that receives, inspects, stores, and delivers. The Design Vault is a high-tech and high-touch delivery fleet now working with dozens of high-end interior designers in the Lowcountry area and beyond. The professional delivery team works with many designers locally including builders and cabinet vendors, to designers from LA working in Charleston. They are also the receiver of choice for wholesale and online vendor orders as their 3rd party white glove delivery service. Kelly cares about the interior design process for all designers and vendors. This is a critical resource for perfectly finished interiors.

Kelly, husband Nate, and daughter Emma enjoy the relaxed Lowcountry lifestyle, but love traveling for interior design, culinary, and lifestyle inspiration.
Kelly Caron Designs frequently supports charitable community organizations, including the SC Make-A-Wish Foundation, Habitat for Humanity, The Arts and Athletics at Cross School, DECA programs in local High Schools, Memory Matters, The Outside Foundation, and the Women of Palmetto Bluff Foundation.
